Valley Taekwondo

Valley Taekwondo offers a unique and comprehensive martial arts experience that can benefit children and families in many ways. Firstly, Taekwondo is an excellent way for children to develop physically. The sport requires coordination, agility, balance and strength, which can help to improve a child's overall health and fitness. Additionally, practicing Taekwondo can also help to boost a child's confidence and self-esteem.
Not only does Valley Taekwondo benefit children, but it also offers benefits for families. As a family-oriented martial arts academy, Valley Taekwondo encourages families to train together, promoting family bonding and creating a positive and supportive environment for all members. By training together, families can also develop a better understanding of each other, leading to improved communication and a more robust family unit.
Valley Taekwondo also contributes to the community as a collective. The academy encourages its students to be active in their local communities, helping to build a sense of responsibility and civic duty among the next generation. Furthermore, the academy offers classes and workshops open to the public, providing opportunities for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to learn new skills and improve their health and wellness.
In conclusion, enrolling your child in Valley Taekwondo is an investment in their physical and mental well-being and your family and the community as a whole. With a focus on holistic development and community engagement, Valley Taekwondo offers a unique and unparalleled martial arts experience that can help to improve the lives of children, families, and communities.

Club Philosophy

At Valley Taekwondo, we want to focus on the mental challenges of martial arts. I feel strongly that students should work on empathy, kindness and helpfulness. This is a 24/7 rule for martial artists. We should work on these skillsets at home and school as well as in the dojang (training hall).

Students need to work on developing trust. As the instructor trusts the student more, more knowledge will be passed on to the student.

In the Home

Talking back to parents or not listening are bad habits built up over time. We can change these habits into positive situations. It will take time as our students start listening more and actively work on relationships with parents and siblings at home. You will start gaining harmony in the home.

At School

As martial artists, we have to look at school differently. How can we help the teachers do their job, how can we set good examples for the other students? Are we giving compliments to the teachers are we helping and encouraging other students.

How are we going to stop bullying at our school as a student learning to be a martial artist or a proud Black Belt, this area of your life will take work.

At the Dojang (training hall)

At the Dojang, we are expected to maintain a serious attitude, showing respect to instructors, senior belts and guests. Helping other students achieve their goals is part of martial arts education.
